Jo's journey with Chinese medicine began after successful treatment as a preteen. Having been failed by so many other avenues, Jo was blown away by the effectiveness and wisdom the medicine offered. She instantly desired the knowledge to be able to provide to others the balance she had been gifted.
Jo's curiosity never wavered and she began studying straight out of high school. Here her respect and awe for the medicine was well and truly solidified.
Jo's practice is driven by the roots of traditional Chinese medicine that map out the intricate connection between the external environment and the body’s internal landscape. She is passionate about the utilisation of traditional Chinese medicine, practically, to harness the body's innate intelligence to heal itself and theoretically, to enable and empower her patients to both optimise and maintain wellness gained.
Most of all Jo feels immense gratitude to be a part of her patient's healing journey. She herself finds learning and growth with each person she works alongside.
Jo especially likes working with patients who are seeking help to address stress/emotional strain, digestive upsets, skin conditions as well as the management of pain.
