Our November health focus, from a Chinese Medicine perspective,  is to strengthen the Kidney functions which can boost your health in Spring.

Fengshui Aspect

The month of November is Yin Water on a Water Pig, where Yin water represent the Kidneys and lower extremities, and Water Pig is the brain & head. According to this month's Feng Shui readings, we are going to experience a strong Water month ahead.

In the Five Element Theory, water generates wood, just as plants need water to grow. Since Spring is the wood element, nourishment of the water element is essential for health in Spring.

Health Aspect

In Chinese Medicine, if someone’s Water element is weak they may suffer from lower back pain, leg/foot pain, brain fog or memory loss, frequent urination etc.
To maintain a good health of Water element this month, it is recommended to consume bone broth is good to strengthen the bones and joints, and nuts such as walnuts and cashews which is good for the brain function.

Additionally, regular foot spa is an easy way to activate the kidney channels in your legs and exposure to sunlight every day to increase the Vitamin D level.
